Video is something I have always been interested in. I loved Media Studies when I was completing my GCSE's and A Levels and made a short film during activities week back in 2000 when I was in my first year of high school, a film which was played again to the whole school in 2012 in our last assembly For my GCSE coursework I put together a film about a charity I worked with, a day care centre for adults with head injuries and brain damage. I loved being a part of this and although it was a team effort, it was my baby and involved 2 passions of mine which was media and the day care centre I volunteered at as much as I could. (Imagine how angry I was when another group completely sabotaged the sound in my film, therefore ruining the message behind it as the audience couldn't hear a word I was saying. Vanilla and Strawberry Cheesecake

We had a weekend of celebrating and along with locally made cupcakes, I wanted to make a treat dessert for us myself rather than buying something from the shop.  I’ve not made a cheesecake for a long long time, always intimidated by whether or not to go for one which you bake or a no-bake recipe instead.  I went for no-bake and a simple flavour too.  I opted for a vanilla cheesecake with strawberries on top, although did also have some raspberries to add alongside the strawberries but felt they weren’t needed in the end. Ingredients Base 300g Digestive biscuits 200g Unsalted Butter Topping 750    Full Fat Cream Cheese (I used Philidelphia) 2 tablespoons Vanilla Extract 100g Icing Sugar 300ml Double Cream Strawberries (I used approximately 8) Instructions Base Either use a rolling pin and a food bag/cling film to smash the biscuits into a fine crumb or use a food processor/hand blender.  Melt your butter and add it to the crumb mixture. Euphoria #tt2016

When I think back to 3 years ago....well...3 and a half years ago....and my attitude and thinking towards motorbikes, and road racing it was completely different to how I feel now. I thought it was selfish. How could these men, and women, risk their lives, put their families through the anxiety and nervousness of the dangerous speeds they travel on these machines. I didn't understand the thrill. My brother has a motorbike and has done for years. I never really wanted to think about the dangers of it. I've always thought, and still do, that he is a safe rider, and seeing these riders involved in Road Racing made me feel a bit sick really. So I avoided it. I watched Road. And I fell in love a bit with their passion. However, I also felt heartbreak at the sadness of the loss of lives involved in the sport. In fact, I struggled to see it as a proper sport. How is it a sport when it is so dangerous?! When they are riding these bikes at such ridiculous speeds. On normal roads. Normal...
